What accessibility services does the library offer?

The Library Accessibility Services (LAS) office assists students referred by Student Accessibility Services (SAS)

Services include:

  • alternate formats of library materials for all university community members with a print disability
  • alternate formats of required readings for blind & students with low vision enrolled in McMaster University courses
  • closed captions for supplemental classroom videos   
  • access to the Campus Accessible Tech Space (CATS), an accessible noise-controlled study space in Mills
  • access to an Assistive Technology Lending Library
